Introducing Readsy Library
Your Bookshelf, Super-Powered
TL;DR: My passion project just went live at readsylibrary.com. It’s the easiest way to track every book you own, see rich reading stats, earn achievements, and get spot-on recommendations—all in one clean, ad-free dashboard. I’d love for you to take the tour, kick the tires, and tell me what you think!
Why I Built It
As my shelves (and Audiobooks) kept overflowing, I bounced between spreadsheets, Goodreads, and hastily written Post-its to remember what I owned, where I left off, and what I should read next. None of them felt just right, so I spent the last few months coding the tool I wanted for myself.
Readsy Library started as a weekend experiment, grew into a side hustle, and today it finally steps into the wild. 🎉
What You’ll Find Inside
✨ Feature | What it does for you |
---|---|
Unified Digital Library | Add physical, e-book, and audiobook editions in seconds—no more “did I already buy this?” moments. |
Smart Progress Tracking | Mark pages/chapters, set reading goals, and see streaks grow. |
Tailored Recommendations | A lightweight algorithm (built with Supabase + a dash of AI) suggests titles that fit your shelf—no generic best-seller spam. |
Achievements & XP | Earn badges for milestones (first review, weekly streaks, speed-runs, etc.) and share them on socials. |
Lists & Tags | Organize by “TBR,” “DNF,” or your own creative categories. |
Freemium Friendly | Core library tools are free forever; power-users can unlock unlimited recs, advanced sorting, and list limits when Premium launches. |
